That's When She Walked In
Soooo... there may have been some songin' & singin' again... and this happened.
~
It was a dark and stormy night
Full of cliché
With no real ending in sight
The rain was fallin' down
Dousing every dream
In that nowhere little town
I was ready to run
Foot on the clutch
Like a bullet from a gun
That's when she walked
in
And I couldn't help
but grin
She was a storm in a
storm
Flashin' her long
blonde hair
We danced in the streets
Without any care
Yeah, that's when she
walked in
And I couldn't help
but grin
So now the skies are clear
Night full of stars
And I'm still standing here
She took my hand
Fingers laced in mine
And I could barely stand
I was ready to stay
Foot on the brake
Throwin' my keys away
That's when she walked
in
And I couldn't help
but grin
She was a storm in a
storm
Flashin' her long
blonde hair
We danced in the streets
Without any care
She made my knees weak with a wink
Man, my heart was gone in a blink
There was something about her smile
Something I hadn't felt
In such a long while
Yeah, that's when she
walked in
And I couldn't help
but grin
